Chica - foster needed's story
Chica - is a female 18 year old (estimated bd 8/14/2000), she is a little  Chihuahua Mix. Our vet looked her over and feels she could be closer to 14yo. She weighs 10lbs.   Chica is a sweet, laid back girl. She does well with other dogs that won't run her over, she is good with cats also. We're suggesting, due to her old age, that she be placed in a home with older children over 10. She gets around really well and loves to go on walks and seems to not have any arthritic issues at her old age. She does have a collapsed trachea (so she needs to be on a harness when walking so as not to further damage this area with pulling on her throat, a heart murmur (grade 3 so not too bad for her age),  EAPL is sending her in for an  echocardiogram, a full  IDEX blood work panel and a  Dental (she will need several extractions.) This should get her ready for her forever family for a senior girl!
