Kellah's story
Kellah is our amazing spirit little girl.  She was not going to give up and we were not going to give up on her. She is only 5.5 yrs old (est bd 12/3/2012) she is currently 9.5 pounds. It was  a sad start but a beautiful ending. She came to us with two broken back legs and a broken pelvis in several places.  She was so matted she skin was being pulled and her skin was burned from being left in her own waste at the shelter. It took two great vet hospitals in Colorado  to work with EAPL (her emergency vet and her surgical  vet ) to put our little Kellah back together again.  We cannot even begin to thank  her amaz ing foste r mom and all of her caring hours of grooming, love, physical therapy, and driving time to appointments for this sweet little girl.  Fast forward to today....  Kellah is a car ridding diva! She is sweet, playful with other small dogs her size, she will play/play/play, chase and bow- play for more.  Like any girl she loves her toys and clothes! This girl can put on a show at meal/treat time --- she dances in a circle and sings (OK  it is a bark) but she thinks she is singing for her food. She goes so fast in a circle you would think she would tie herself in a knot. If she even sees a comb/brush she will talk to you -- she loves to be brushed.  She is house-trained, leash walks, crates (though she is not happy about it she prefers to be with you!) She will follow you anywhere.  Her perfect home is one with a lap and lots of loves and pets.  A secure fenced  yard (not an electric fence) and another small playful little dog(s).  No small children  due to her extensive surgery to put her back together; she could break easily.
